Licence

1. The Registrar shall on or before the first day of December in each year, send by mail or other means to each member, Physician Assistant and associate member, if applicable, then holding a licence a written notice respecting the renewal of their licence.

2. Every member who wishes to have their licence renewed for the following calendar year shall, on or before the first day of January, complete the following licence renewal requirements:

a) pay to the Registrar, or such person as they may nominate, the prescribed annual licence fee,
b) pay, if applicable, the prescribed annual membership fee of the New Brunswick Medical Society,
c) complete and submit their annual attestation, and
d) provide, upon request, evidence of continuing coverage under a contract for professional liability insurance, or to similar effect.

3. Failure to complete all licence renewal requirements by the prescribed deadline will result in the suspension of the member’s licence.
