Physicians practicing in the Atlantic Region who meet the eligibility requirements can now opt in to the Atlantic Registry.
The Registry, a collaborative initiative between all four Colleges of Physicians and Surgeons in the Atlantic provinces, was announced by the Council of Atlantic Premiers in February 2023. It is built upon substantial agreement by all Colleges on the criteria for Atlantic Registry, information sharing and advances the spirit and intent of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
